Pokes in the Pros
Le’Bryan Nash Off to Hot Start for Fukushima
Le’Bryan Nash and the Fukushima Firebonds are only two games into the season, but Nash is already making a big impression in his first action as a pro.
After putting up 31 points in the first game of the season, Nash, topped himself with 37 points and 13 rebounds in the Firebonds’ 85-54 win.
“His best strength is to attack, to attack in the open floor,” head coach Hiroki Fujita said of Nash. “When he gains momentum, he’s very, very tough to stop.
“He’s definitely, hands down, one of the most talented offensive players in this league. If he can consistently play defense and focus and stay with us for 40 minutes, he’s going to be a very, very good asset to our team and we are going to be a very, very good team.”
