Leyton Hammonds Signs With Inception Sports
Departing senior forward Leyton Hammonds has found himself professional representation. The former Cowboy has signed with Inception Sports Agency, which represents a host of players both in the NBA and overseas.

Hammonds, a four-year player who appeared in 120 games over his career, was an underrated defender and rebounder for the Cowboys. He averaged 8.1 points and 4.9 rebounds in 22 minutes per game as a senior. His late-season hot streak had a lot to do with the Cowboys’ second-half turnaround in conference play. Hammonds, along with Phil Forte, served important veteran roles on an otherwise young and inexperienced team.
Hammonds is not currently forecasted to be selected in the upcoming NBA Draft but given his experience and talent level, he could find himself signing as a free agent and playing in the D-league like Michael Cobbins did after his time at OSU came to an end. Or he could explore possibilities overseas like former Cowboy Markel Brown is doing.
