Logan Rudolph Picks up Baylor Offer, up to 32 Offers
Oklahoma State target Logan Rudolph, younger brother of quarterback Mason, continues to blow up on the recruiting trail with his latest offers on Tuesday coming from both Iowa State and Baylor. With updated rankings and analysis by 247sports, Rudolph is now listed solely at defensive end – and not tight end, where the Cowboys once projected him. 247sports now lists him as a four-star recruit, with an offer sheet longer than my list of traffic violations:
By 247sports’ count, he is now up to 32 Div. I offers, with the most prominent being Oklahoma State, Miami, Michigan, Florida State, and USC…. in that order. [waxes orange tinted sunglasses]
He still has his senior year ahead of him, and it’s not entirely unreasonable to think he could reach 50 scholarship offers before it’s all said and done. It appears he’s going to play defensive end at the next level, and perhaps it’s time the Cowboys adjust their strategy with him and see him in that light. Based off his film, he could make a very useful tight end with soft hands for such a big prospect, but he’s a game-changing defensive end with incredible explosion and strength that you don’t see much in guys his age.
