Marcus Smart Records First Career Triple Double in Win Over Phoenix
Marcus Smart recorded his first career triple-double for the Boston Celtics on Friday night, coming off the bench to score 10 points and adding 11 rebounds and 11 assists in a win over the Suns. He also finished the night with two steals and two blocks.
According to Elias Sports, Smart is the first Celtics player to record a triple-double off the bench since the NBA began tracking starts in 1970. The only other player is Art Williams, who did so in 1971.
