Mason Rudolph’s Home Statistics Are Pretty Amazing
Mason Rudolph has now started 12 home games. A full season’s worth of games. His stats in those games are absolutely stunning. We are taking out the OU game from 2015 because he did not start that one and barely played. The remaining 12 games were against:
Central Arkansas, UTSA, Kansas State, Kansas, TCU, Baylor, SE Louisiana, Central Michigan, Pitt, Texas, Iowa State and West Virginia. Here are his stats for those 12 games.
- 279/439 (64 percent)
- 4,235 yards (353/game)
- 32 TD
- 3 INT
Flabbergasting! He is also 10-2 in those games with losses to Baylor and Central Michigan. His stats in his last 14 starts overall are just as gaudy. Since tossing three picks last year at WVU, Rudolph has been pretty lights out.
- 311/494 (63 percent)
- 4,407 yards (315/game)
- 29 TD
- 3 INT
Rudolph is 10-4 in those games with losses to Baylor twice, Ole Miss and Central Michigan. No matter how you look at it, though, QB1 has been really, really good over the course of his career in Stillwater (and specifically in Stillwater).
Gundy on Mason Rudolph's day vs WVU: "Yurcich did a really nice job with him. We didn't want him to get out of the box."

Saturday against WVU was another reminder of just how good OSU can be when he’s feeling it. Hopefully he will be feeling it for the next four games as OSU tries to streak towards playing for yet another Big 12 championship.
What a play here. Wow. https://t.co/E1hDyrfAQ3
