Ogbah, Grogan Named Big 12 Players of the Week
Defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah had a quietly excellent performance on Saturday’s 30-27 victory. He finished the day with six tackles, two sacks, and 2.5 tackles for loss, which earned him Big 12 defensive player of the week honors. He’s been the catalyst for a defensive line that has exceeded all expectations in the early going of this season.
Ben Grogan also had himself a fantastic day Saturday, scoring 12 of OSU’s total 30 points. (Also making my prediction come true). His landmark day earned him Big 12 special teams player of the week honors. He connected on two key field goals in the last 1:33 of the game, including the game-clincher with :06 seconds remaining.
Congrats to @Eman_OSU38 and @ben_grogan on being named @Big12Conference players of the week. @CowboyFB #okstate @OSUAthletics
