Oklahoma State to Interview Doug Gottlieb on Thursday
In search for its coaching vacancy, Oklahoma State will reportedly interview current Fox Sports 1 analyst Doug Gottlieb on Thursday, ESPN’s Jeff Goodman reports.

For Gottlieb, who played at Oklahoma State from 1998-2000, this would be his first head coaching job at any university, although he has garnered coaching experience through AAU and the USA Open Men’s Basketball Team in the World Maccabiah Games.
He was reportedly up for the Tulane and OSU jobs in 2016.
In a bit of a twist, Gottlieb’s move to Fox Sports was announced on Wednesday. He spent several years as an analyst for ESPN and CBS Sports.

If Gottlieb were to get the job, it would not be the first time OSU athletic director Mike Holder was at the forefront of a first-time coach getting an OSU job. As a 20-something fresh out of college, Holder took over the OSU golf program.

Gottlieb told us earlier this week that he wants the job and wants GIA to rock like it did at the end of the 2017 season for the entire season.
