Oklahoma State Picks Up Commitment from Big Name Transfer Guard
Oklahoma State has added a commitment from the reigning MAC freshman of the year, Michael Weathers. He announced his commitment on Sunday via his Twitter.
As a freshman last season, Weathers averaged 16.7 points, 4.8 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game under head coach John Cooper — who was fired from Miami of Ohio and placed on Mike Boynton’s coaching staff.
Weathers will sit next season due to NCAA transfer rules.
The big question becomes how, if at all, this affects his brothers decision. Marcus Weathers is also transferring from Miami, and averaged 9.7 points per game last season as a freshman.
