Oklahoma State Pushing Hard for Small Forward from Buffalo
Of the many new scholarship offers Brad Underwood and his wrecking crew handed out this spring and summer, one landed in the hands of 6-foot-8 small forward Jordan Nwora, a Buffalo, NY prospect with 30+ scholarship offers — more than 20 coming since the new year began.
With the summer circuit winding to an end, Nwora tells Adam Zagoria of sny.tv that he will soon begin narrowing his list.
“Probably sometime in August I’ll sit down with my family and talk with some coaches and try to narrow down the list,” he said.
With more than 30 scholarship offers with more potentially on the way, Nwora says at the moment that the schools recruiting him the hardest at the moment are Oklahoma State, Cal, Utah, Pitt, Georgia Tech and UConn.
Nwora is ranked as a four-star prospect by 247sports, and although he’s somewhat of a late riser having just boosted his stock dramatically over the last six months, he’s seen by most as a top 150 prospect in the 2017 class.
And although a visit hasn’t happened yet, Nwora says he will “definitely” take one to Oklahoma State soon.
