Oklahoma State Ranked No. 18 in First CFP Rankings
The Oklahoma State Cowboys are ranked No. 18 in the first release of the College Football Playoff rankings.
16. Utah
17. Baylor
18. Oklahoma State
19. Virginia Tech
20. West Virginia— College Football Playoff (@CFBPlayoff) November 1, 2016
The Cowboys were ranked No. 22 in both the Coaches and AP Poll this week. They are fresh off a 37-20 victory over previously undefeated West Virginia. OSU is currently 6-2 on the season, although many consider them 7-1 with the Central Michigan game a practical victory and only a technical loss due to the Big 12’s officiating incompetence.
The Pokes are one of four Big 12 teams in the top 25 standings, with Baylor and Oklahoma both above them.
