If Oklahoma State’s Depth Chart Was Made Up Of Recruiting Stars
This week an Alabama writer re-created Alabama’s two-deep with recruiting stars. After a prompt from friend of the blog Tyler Beets, I thought it would be fun to do the same with OSU. I’m guessing it’s going to look a lot different than Bama’s!
@pistolsguy @TheOkiePokie can you have someone to a comparison to okstate? https://t.co/l9yLSgCQBw

So here is OSU’s two-deep using 247 recruiting rankings. Here’s a look at the two-deep without recruiting if you want to look at it.

The only four-star on OSU’s offensive line is (maybe a second-string guy at center). That’s pretty crazy.

Austin Hays had no stars coming out of HS. Everybody else was a three-star according to 247.

The running back situation is hilarious. Barry J. was the only four-star in HS. Jeff Carr was a two-star!

Not great when your backup has no recruiting profile.

Pipkins was the two-star CB and Moncrief was the four-star safety. Ultimately, as we all know having lived through a decade of Mike Gundy, stars don’t always matter when building a football team (especially on offense). But we did learn last November that you need horses to close a Big 12 title, and it does seem like OSU has more than usual on this year’s team.
CBS Sports has 7 Cowboys listed as projected draft picks in the 2017 NFL Draft. That is by far the most for OSU in the last 5 yrs. #okstate
