Oklahoma State’s Fourth Quarter Finishes Among Nations Best
Oklahoma State has been labeled the “cardiac cowboys” by some, for their ability to finish games to the end and also because it gives fans cardiac issues.
Despite slow starts that have seemingly plagued the Cowboys, their finishes have been among the nations best. BYU and Oklahoma State have a +50 scoring margin in the fourth quarter this season, which is the best in the FBS.
The scoring margin is slightly deceitful because, despite a +50 margin according to ESPN stats, the muscle of that statistic stems from the defense. The Cowboys have only allowed 23 points combined through 6 games in the fourth quarter, which is absolutely incredible.
BYU: +50 scoring margin in 4th quarter this season, tied with Oklahoma State for best in FBS
