Ole Miss Star DE Robert Nkemdiche Charged With Possession of Marijuana
Following an incident this weekend in which Ole Miss all-american Robert Nkemdiche fell out of a window and was transported to the hospital, the defensive end has now been formally charged with possession of marijuana following the aftermath of the incident.
According to a report from the Atlanta Police Department, the authorities found “approximately seven rolled marijuana cigarettes” that were tied to him.
The detailed incident said that Nkemdiche fell down approximately 15-feet from a fourth floor room onto a ledge below.
Head coach Hugh Freeze is scheduled to address the media today, but has not detailed his upcoming status for the Sugar Bowl on January 1, in which the Rebels face Oklahoma State. “We are still learning about the matter, but obviously Robert’s well-being is our greatest concern,” Freeze said in a statement released Sunday afternoon.
