OSU Commit Tyrell Alexander Still Weighing Other Options
Oklahoma State commit Tyrell Alexander has been a long-time verbal pledge to the Pokes but is still receiving interest from other schools, and seems to be undecided on his college destination.
Alexander committed early in 2015 but decommitted from OSU, only to again re-commit later in 2015. He made an official visit to Arkansas over the weekend, and the Hogs appear to be a big threat as national signing day approaches.
“I enjoyed myself,” Alexander said of his visit to Fayetville. “The recruiting coaches and the real coaches treated me real nice while I was down here.”
Arkansas tells Alexander they are willing to take him “at multiple positions”, so if he chooses not to play receiver he could look at cornerback as well.
According to arkansasonline.com, Alexander is unsure when he will make his final decision, but he seems to be fairly open – enough to have a reasonable concern he may be headed elsewhere.
He picked up another big offer on Wednesday from the Oregon Ducks. Whether or not it changes his mind on his final decision is yet to be seen, but OSU needs to lay out the full court press to keep Alexander a Cowboy commit until he signs on the dotted line.
