OSU to Honor Jeff Naple with Helmet Decal
“Pitt was a special person to us,” Gundy said in his weekly press conference. “I don’t really ever remember a time he wasn’t around here.”
It was announced this week that long-time video coordinator Jeff Naple had passed away from pancreatic cancer. He served at Oklahoma State for more than 25 years, and made stops with the University of Pittsburgh and the Dallas Cowboys.
“He was outstanding at his job and played an important role in helping me do mine,” Gundy went on to say. “We are going to miss his sense of humor and everything that he brought to our program.”
The equipment staff will honor “Pitt” with this helmet decal in his passing. You can read more about his story from the official athletics department release here.
