It’s the kind of gaffe we’ve come to expect from the campaign trail: a politician trying to dabble in an expertise not his own.
On Wednesday Paul Ryan visited the Cleveland Browns practice facility and according to the Plain Dealer Ryan told everyone how much he enjoyed watching Weeden play at OSU while pointing at Colt McCoy.
He tried to correct his mistake once he realized what he was doing:
You always had your helmet on.
Weeden seemed to have a good sense of humor about it if we’re going by this photo.
To make matters worse though, that photo I linked says “Oklahoma QB – Brandon Weeden.”

Agree as well. I like your blog because it’s about OSU sports. I go other places for politics. Comments like “How badly does Paul Ryan not want my vote right now?” are why I’m not coming here for political commentary. Come on, you are seriously going to go with the other candidate because Ryan doesn’t know the rookie QB for one of the worst teams in the NFL. I seriously hope there is more that goes into your decision in such a serious matter.
