Published

on

Oklahoma State is sending three Cowboys to the combine this week to compete in Indianapolis and make their mark with scouts. With hundreds of prospects from many different schools, it’s difficult to sort exactly where each one stands in regards to their draft value going into the combine. When is the combine? When can we watch? Where does each prospect’s draft stock stand? We’ve got you covered.

Emmanuel Ogbah – Defensive End

WalterFootball.com ranks Emmanuel Ogbah as the No. 3 defensive end prospect in this years draft class, just behind Joey Bosa and Deforest Buckner. It’s widely been projected Ogbah will go on Day 1, with Pro Football Focus projecting he could go in the top ten of the first round.

Projected 40-yard dash time: 4.77

Projected round: 1

Kevin Peterson – Cornerback

Peterson is a wild card in this draft, who could most certainly jump up scouting boards with a solid performance at the combine. He turned some heads at the Senior Bowl after Laquon Treadwell did Laquon Treadwell things in the Sugar Bowl, and this week will be a big opportunity for the Wagoner, Okla. native. WalterFootball.com projects he could get day 2 consideration, depending on his combine performance.

Projected 40-yard dash time: 4.54

Projected round: 4-6

Jimmy Bean – Defensive End

CBS Sports ranks Bean as the No. 32 player at his position, and the No. 373 overall prospect. With only 256 picks, Bean may not be drafted, depending on team needs, willingness to take a chance, etc. He’s coming off an ACL tear, which teams will definitely consider as well. So his progress to this point coming off a major injury will be a big factor.

Projected 40-yard dash time: 4.82

Projected round: 6-Undrafted
