Ranking the 2015 Oklahoma State Helmets
Oklahoma State wore nine different helmets in 2015. Here they are, ranked.
1. The throwbacks
Many of you will disagree here, but it’s perfect in its simplicity. I absolutely loved it.
2. The carbon fiber
Many more of you will disagree, but I absolutely love this one. The carbon fiber, the orange brand outline and the Pete on the forehead. I love it all.
3. White stripe with black brand
It’s insane that this one is No. 3. Kyle Porter circa 1999 would have passed out if he had seen these. I love the black face mask.
4. All Black
It’s crazy that these have become so … traditional. They’re still elite though.
5. Chrome with Pete
This one is cool. It looks like Pete is actually supposed to go on this helmet because of the chrome stripe and facemask.
6. Stripe with crazy Pete
This one is good, not great. I don’t hate it. I just like the brand better.
7. Orange chrome
I just can’t get into it like some other people can. It’s not my thing.
8. Black Pete
The worse version of the black Pete with the chrome stripe and facemask.
9. Icy white
A nice idea. Not a great look.
