RB Todd Mays Updated Injury Status
Todd Mays committed to Oklahoma State last October from East Mississippi College, a junior college powerhouse where Mays was the standout running back.
Mays totaled 641 rushing yards in an air raid offense, where he also split duties as a dual threat quarterback. But since stepping on campus, he has faced multiple injuries that have held him off the field.
During Mike Gundy’s radio show with Dave Hunziker, he mentioned that Mays had faced another setback this fall with an issue with his thigh.
“I think this will be the first week that he’s back out there and kind of in a routine practicing. We’ll see how his body holds up, but he’s been slowed down for 15 or 20 days.”
Mays isn’t listed on the depth chart due to injuries, but he also faces a battle to return to the lineup with Carson, Childs, and Carr already seeing time at running back.
