The Reload: Four-star Safety Planning Official, New Southlake Carroll Offer and Pitt Visitors
The Reload is PFB’s recruiting recap, catching you up to speed on the latest news and rumors surrounding Oklahoma State recruiting, with an ear to the ground for what to expect in the future.
Oklahoma State Offers Southlake Carroll Star
Among the visitors this weekend for the Pitt game (more on that below), was RJ Mickens, a 2020 defensive back from Southlake Carroll. The 5-foot-10 standout already has an offer from Arizona and other interest. And although it is extremely early in his recruitment, the Pokes are jumping in the ring early for a prospect who may be one of the top players in the 2020 class:

Four-star safety planning official visit
2017 safety Chaz Ah You, whom OSU has been in on for more than a year, is planning an official visit to Stillwater before the season ends according to Scout.com. The Provo, Utah native is ranked as the No. 1 safety in Utah, and the No. 116 overall prospect in the 2017 class. The 6-foot-1 safety also has strong interest in UCLA, Stanford, Washington and Notre Dame, too. The Pokes offered him a scholarship as a safety but his size at 190-pounds with a good frame to build into could make him an ideal candidate to slide into the versatile STAR linebacker position as well.
Recruits who attended Pitt game
Among the many visitors for the Pitt game this past weekend were several OSU verbal commits, and a few other with interest.
Brock Martin – DE commit
Brendon Evers (per gopokes.com) – DT commit
Braydon Johnson – WR commit
Damion Daniels – DT offer (Darrion Daniels brother)
Justin Dutton – OL committed to Arkansas State, no offer
