Report: Gambler Loses $6K Moneyline Bet on Central Michigan Hail Mary Victory
Want to know why gambling is #hard and #unpredictable? Here is a perfect example. According to Jake Trotter, via David Purdum of ESPN, one individual had a money-line bet on the OSU game that would have paid $500 — and obviously did not.
According to @DavidPurdum, someone had a $6K moneyline bet on Oklahoma State yesterday. That might be the worst #badbeat of all time.

Biggest money-line bet on Oklahoma St @WilliamHillUS was $6,000 at -1,200. Would have paid $500.

Of course if you had a money-line bet on the OSU/CMU game, you’d probably feel pretty good about it, all things considered. And the odds were certainly in their favor. But such is life, and now some person is $6500 less rich than what they probably thought they would be when the clock struck :00.
