Report: Travis Ford Met with Mike Holder Three Times on Thursday
There’s not much leaking out from Stillwater in regards to Travis Ford and the basketball head coach position, but there seems to be a lot taking place behind the scenes that many aren’t aware of.
John Holcomb, a very tied in reporter who also does play-by-play for Cowboy basketball and football, reports (via Dean Blevins) that Travis Ford met with athletic director Mike Holder three times on Thursday for the third day this week.

It appears they are playing the waiting game to see if – or when – Ford can move on to another job to significantly reduce the buyout required by OSU. The Western Kentucky job opened yesterday evening, and Travis Ford could be a serious contender for the position. As Berry Tramel noted Thursday, Western Kentucky in Bowling Green, Ky., just 86 miles from Madisonville, Ky.
