Restaurant Chain Jimmy John’s Trolls Arrested OSU Player
Yesterday we told you about the arrest of Oklahoma State defensive end Cole Walterscheid for public intoxication as first reported by the O’Colly.
Per the police report:
When the officer approached and shined his spotlight, he noticed the object Walterscheid was on was a Jimmy John’s delivery driver car topper, according to the affidavit. Walterscheid reportedly began to approach the officer’s vehicle while carrying the car topper, walking unsteadily.
While legal trouble is no laughing matter, the Illinois-based restaurant chain did not pass up the opportunity to do a little fast-food trolling and get a little free publicity.
This is why we can’t have nice things ? https://t.co/saaxHKsb0V

An OSU spokesperson told The Oklahoman that Mike Gundy would not publicly address Walterscheid’s status until his next press conference on November 28.
