Rodarius Williams “Pretty Much Solid” on OSU, Open to Listening to Schools
Defensive back Rodarius Williams, a long-time Oklahoma State commit, confirmed in an interview with The Times-Picayunne that he is still mostly solid in his commitment to Oklahoma State.
“I’m still open to just listening to what other schools have to say, but I’m pretty much solid on Oklahoma State right now,” he said. “I think they had a pretty good season and it made me be even more solid. The people up there are just telling me to stay committed, they need me and they would love to have me.”
Williams is a 6-foot, 170-pound cornerback from Calvary Baptist in Shrevport, LA. He has offers from OU, Arizona, and others – and Zona and Ole Miss are doing their best to sway his decision before signing day.
“We had our quarterback decommit (Nick Starkel), so now they’re kind of worried about me, but I’m telling them I’m solid, so I’m gonna stick to my word.”
The coaches really need Williams to stay committed for the 2016 class. They lose Kevin Peterson and Michael Hunter, and return only Ashton Lampkin and Ramon Richards as the most experienced cornerbacks. Williams is one of several cornerbacks in the 2016 class along with AJ Green and early enrollees Malik Kearse and Madre Harper.
