Social Reaction: OSU Fans Turn On Underwood After Departure To Illinois
Brad Underwood was an every day guy for 362 days.
He grew such close ties with Oklahoma State basketball fans that rumors of him going to Kansas State or elsewhere were almost always laughed off because, though he was underpaid, his loyalty to OSU seemed genuine.
Because of that, OSU fans took offense. Immediately.

Yes, Underwood was underpaid, but he seemed understanding of that. I mean, he did sign the contract. So isn’t it athletic director Mike Holder’s fault for not getting a deal done?
