It Sounds Like Oklahoma State Will Return to the Cursive Cowboys Uniforms
Members of the media, players and staff were gathered in Stillwater on Monday to watch OSU’s president Burns Hargis and athletic director Mike Holder introduce its next men’s basketball coach.
While fans are still divided on the hire, one thing that should unite the “loyal and true” is the news that OSU will be abandoning the Ford-era uniforms that were, quite frankly, pretty ugly.
The 2017-18 threads will at least in part be an ode to the past with the cursive Cowboys on the front.
I have it confirmed: @OSUMBB is bringing back the Cursive Cowboys uniforms next season. #okstate

Here’s a look at what these unis could potentially look like by our Twitter friend Justin Gannaway. This was a quick photoshop job and is not meant to be an exact replica.

As you can see, the marshal badge is prominent in these mock ups following the narrative that it will in fact be the “new brand.” Who knows what the actual uniforms will look like, but we suspect they will follow the football unis and have some paisley and of course the badge.
Here’s a look at the cursive uniforms worn in the Arkansas game this past season.
We’re on board as long as they don’t end up with barbed-wire warmups.
