Texas D-Coordinator Compares Rudolph to Weeden
Rudolph has earned plenty of hype in the offseason after stepping in late last year to revive the Cowboys football season with a win over Oklahoma last year.
Comparisons are bound to take place with former players who have had success, and the Texas defensive coordinator couldn’t help but join in the fun, saying that Rudolph is “a little like Weeden” in that he knows his receivers and what his abilities are. Bedford also said he was very impressed with the young sophomore and knows he’ll have his hands full.
Bedford coached defensive backs at Oklahoma State in 1993 and later returned to Stillwater where he stepped in as defensive coordinator for the 2005-2006 season.
