Wow. RT @RealSkipBayless Okla State just got robbed of a win over Texas when replay failed to reverse the winning TD. Obvious fumble recovered by OSU. Refs choke.
Interesting to see if this gets real attention this week.
Regardless if it was a fumble, there is no way the rusher crossed the goal line with the ball. There’s no way the ref could’ve seen the rusher and ball, therefore should’ve never called a touchdown.
I put a comment in the 10 thoughts about this but I feel like nobody read it. It’s all actually pretty simple. There WAS a FUMBLE. It was RECOVERED by Lowe. There is no disputing it. The call is as blatenetly wrong as the Green Bay, Seattle game was last week, if not worse. I think there needs to be a public apology by the Big 12 AT LEAST!!!! I don’t think there has ever been a games decision overturned after the fact but this would be a situation for it. Texas never crosses the goal line and was handed a phantom touchdown and then the refs acted like they didn’t want to deal with it and just said call stands. NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! To all the people including Kyle, I’m sorry you are wrong, that call lost us the game.!!! Yes I agree the defense didn’t help but they did their job at the end of the game and the refs DIDN’T!!!! They got the stop they needed!! I don’t care if you give up 3000 yards. We had the lead and a fumble recovery!!!! The next play should have been us taking a knee at the 25 in the victory formation, PERIOD!!!! Anything else is just trying to make yourself feel better and do just what the refs and Texas want you to do, blame it all in our defense.
Ball clearly crossed the plane, then popped out. Funny how it’s clearly one way to one team, and the exact opposite to the other.
All of these pics of the ball on the ground outside the EZ, etc don’t mean anything because it’s about timing. The ball can cross, then get hit and fall out of the EZ easily. 1) why didn’t the fumble recoverer celebrate? 2) why didn’t his teammates celebrate?, and 3) why don’t we get some video footage (because a pic can be taken at ANY moment and means nothing) parallel to the goal line and then talk. All of these bad angles make it tough for anyone to see, which is why the official had the best POV and why he made the call.
And it is nowhere near as blatant as the GB call lol… classic. Are yall Bob Stoops wannabees or something? This is an OU level of complaining.
The only thing OSU got screwed on was not covering Texas’ WRs in the final 5 minutes of the game.
Answers to your dumb questions: 1) He didn’t celebrate because it was rule a touchdown (common practice in football is to not celebrate on defense when the ruling on the field is an offensive touchdown) 2) The same as one (kind of stupid to ask essentially the same question twice)
Ill separate this one because it isn’t stupid:
3) There really isn’t a great video shown here, but from the angles on the video on this site, if his head barely gets in, and the ball is held under his armpit how did he break the plane?
The point of the bad defense has been admitted by most OSU fans, but to continue on the point of your comments being stupid, the defense on the last pass Texas threw was as good as it gets on a completion.
Two questions: 1) How can the line judge at the far right of the field even see the ball cross the goal line: 2) Why doesn’t the Umpire in the back of the endzone notice the fumble?

OSU not getting the call and instead it results in a win for Texas? ::In my best Nicholas Cage voice:: “Yaaah don’t say!”
Seriously, if this was the other way and we are in Austin Texas gets the call.
shut the fuck up and stop bitching! Hook’em!!!! bunch of sore ass losers
Easy to say when the call goes your way. Stay on your own site, troll.
Great post! You are really showing your intellect. It was a terrible call and you know it.

This. Can’t believe you caught on to Texas’ brainwashing abilities.
