The Reload is PFB’s new recruiting nightcap, which will catch you up to speed on the day’s events surrounding Oklahoma State recruiting with an ear to the ground on what to expect in the near future.

Cowboys chasing Texas Longhorns Commit

Cowboy back coach Jason McEndoo tweeted yesterday that he was “living on Bullard time…”

One source tells me that McEndoo was in Bullard to see Major Tennison, a three-star tight end from Bullard, Texas, among other prospects. He is the No. 16 rated tight end in the 2017 class, per 247sports, but ranks No. 1 on Kyle Boone’s “all names” list.

Although he’s rated just a three-star prospect, he’s a hot commodity on the market with offers from Florida, Alabama, Michigan, Georgia, Arkansas, and others.

At 6-6, 245-pounds, Tennison does things that football players at 6-6 generally do not have the ability to do. He’s physical, can line up on the outside, and is a mismatch nightmare for the defense.

Tidbit on four-star safety Montaric Brown

Brown named OSU in his top schools earlier this week. And while many are believing Arkansas and Oklahoma are emerging as the favorite, there’s still plenty of time for schools, including the Cowboys, to sway his mind. He tells Otis Kirk of 247sports that he won’t announce his college decision until August 24 — his birthday. Perhaps that tidbit could play in favor of OSU. Because if a decision were to come now, Arkansas appears to be the overwhelming favorite.

New Hoops Offer

Brad Underwood and the gang offered 2017 shooting guard Jay Jay Chandler on Wednesday. He is a 6-4 wing from Katy, Texas, with offers from OU, Texas A&M, SMU, Virginia Tech, and others. He’s the No. 5 player in the state of Texas per 247sports, and Scout ranks him as the No. 37 player in the 2017 class.

Chandler has excellent touch around the rim and can finish in traffic with relative ease. His big frame and wingspan help him in defense, where he is an above average defender around the rim with good shot blocking ability for a guard his size. It also helps he can throw down and has already mastered the #angrydunk:

New Football Offers

The first offer of the morning went out to 2017 defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo, another candidate for the KB “all names list.” The 6-4, 235-pound end from Carrollton, Texas, has double digit offers with OSU adding to his list earlier today. His offer sheet also includes Baylor, Vanderbilt, Colorado State, Duke, Harvard, Texas Tech, Houston, Kansas, Mississippi State, Tulane, and Tulsa.

Another offer that went out this morning went to 2018 athlete Jalen Green from Houston, Texas.

Green is a 6-1 prospect who already has an impressive list offers from the likes of Arizona, Florida, Baylor, LSU, OU, Michigan State, and a handful of others. Remember this name. This up-and-coming defensive back has incredible athleticism who uses his length very well in space to close on receivers. His listed 4.46 speed certainly helps him in coverage, too.

Another offer went to 2018 Ashdown, Arkansas defensive back LaDarius Bishop. OSU is Bishops second offer, per his 247 profile, joining the Baylor Bears. Interestingly, Bishop is the teammate of elite safety Montaric Brown, who we have now discussed ad nauseam.

Here was Bishop’s tweet:

And this was Montaric Brown’s reaction:

Interesting.
