“To give a bit of a preface, this week’s uniform choice is one that I actually never originally planned on including in this series. However, as many of you know, the Cowboy family lost one of its greats this past weekend with the passing of Jeff “Pitt” Naple.

“His service and contributions to OSU were immeasurable, spanning across decades, and I thought that the very least I could do would be to honor Jeff’s legacy by dedicating this week’s throwback to him. And so, I came to the decision to remake the uniforms of 1981, the season marking Jeff’s very first year at Oklahoma State.”
