Throwback Thursday: This Mid-50s Oklahoma State Helmet Is Amazing
I love this week’s throwback uni set. The semi-Michigan helmet, the black numbers on orange uni and the gray pants. The whole thing is tremendous. Here’s what Chris Knox, who is making these designs, wrote.
This uniform was one of the last great designs that would be worn by Oklahoma A&M before their renaming to Oklahoma State University in 1957, marking the end of an era for the Cowboys.
