WATCH: Chuba Hubbard Hurdles Two Defenders in Blowout Win
The fastest recruit on Oklahoma State’s commitment list is without a doubt Chuba Hubbard. As a canadian sprinter, Hubbard has been clocked at a 10.55 100m sprint, placing him fourth overall at the 2015 IAAF World Youth Championships in Cali, Colombia, last July.
But as the No. 1 recruit in Canada, he’s a heady enough runner to not only put his speed to use but also his Chris Carson-esque hops. Check out the guts to go up over two defenders before being dragged down:
Hubbard and Bev Facey went on to win 55-0, and it’s nice to see as a runner that Hubbard is developing some tools in his arsenal his senior year. There’s a pretty good chance he’ll see the field as a true freshman at OSU.
