Watch: Clint Chelf Reflects on Choo Choo Movement in Hilarious Outtake Interview
Former OSU quarterback Clint Chelf sat down with Orange Power Studio’s Allison Gappa earlier this summer and reflected on one of the more memorable moments in his career: The 2013 touchdown jaunt against Texas Tech with Gus Johnson on the call referencing his “get away from the cops speed.”
“I’m glad the meme train hadn’t started like it is now,” Chelf said. They weren’t that big yet, but twitter was going nuts still. The get away from the cops thing with Gus — it was almost infamous. Then the Choo Choo movement after that. It was fun to be a player during that, and get a t-shirt,” he said.
And more on that run, which looking back he says took everything he had in the tank.
“Man I’m just glad I didn’t have to run much further cause I was running out of gas. No more gas in the tank, I was just looking for the sidelines for water.”
The video linked below is really a pretty hilarious outtake and a good insight into Chelf’s personality behind the scenes cutting loose.
