WATCH: How the New Football Uniforms are Unique to Oklahoma State

I love backstories to stuff like OSU’s uniform reveal on Wednesday, and this is a good one. OSU worked hand-in-hand with Nike to put forth its best uniforms yet. Mike Gundy weighed in.

“What we wanted to do from our end was have something unique that nobody else has,” said equipment guru Matt Davis. “We wanted to tell our story, our traditions we have here at Oklahoma State football. We wanted something unique to us and not something standard that was sent to us. This is unique to Oklahoma State.” They certainly did that with stuff like this.

Mike Gundy weighed in as well.

“It excites our team to have the newest, latest uniforms,” said Gundy. “We want to stay ahead of the curve and keep Oklahoma State’s football uniforms out in front of everybody else in the country.” He put that in more hilarious terms earlier this year.
