WATCH: Jalen McCleskey Makes Insane One-handed Snag in Practice
Jalen McCleskey is headed into his second season in Stillwater looking to make a big impact after a surprising freshman campaign. McCleskey finished his first year in Stillwater with 29 receptions for 253 yards and 3 touchdowns, and 1 in the return game.
There’s no denying he’s a special talent. Most freshman can’t even get on the field, let alone make an impact the way he was able to. He’s already flashed some big upside during his short stint with some elite speed and proven reliability as a receiver. And he did it again this week. Check out this incredible catch from McCleskey in practice that was posted to Josh Stewart’s instagram account:
I’m no expert, but if Josh Stewart says you’re “straight sick with it”, that has to count for something. With David Glidden graduating, perhaps McCleskey can find himself a niche in the slot where Stewart found great success during his time in Stillwater.
