WATCH: OSU Quarterback Pledge Jelani Woods Showcases Arm Strength
There’s a reason OSU tabbed Ellenwood, Georgia native Jelani Woods as their top quarterback target for the 2017 class. Woods, a 6-foot-7 prospect, not only has the skill and frame of a big time talent, but also a big time arm.
Woods was known for both his ability to be mobile and scramble to make something of broken plays his junior year, and also his talent to make difficult throws on the run. But apparently Mike Yurcich isn’t a bad talent evaluator — check out the arm he displayed over the weekend making 50+ yard throws.
It’s one thing to make the throw on a crow hop, but sitting back cooling and dropping dimes from that distance shows some serious talent.
