Watch: OSU Signee Tylan Wallace Finishes Second in State in Triple Jump

Oklahoma State wide receiver signee Tylan Wallace finished second place in the great state of Texas in the triple jump on Thursday. His officially distance was 49 feet, 11 inches — a new personal best for the South Hills (Fort Worth, Texas) product.

Here’s the bird’s eye view in slow motion.

FREAK. SHOW.

Wallace was OSU’s highest rated commitment in the 2017 recruiting class. He signed in February along with his twin brother Tylan where he became the highest rated wide receiver to sign with OSU since Dez Bryant — and it’s pretty easy to see why schools like Oklahoma, Notre Dame and others were vying for his services in the recruiting process. He’s an athletic freak who Mike Gundy couldn’t help but gush about after signing day.

“Tylan is a fast Josh Stewart,” Gundy said of Wallace. “Stewart was tremendous in a phone both, but when he opened it up he was 4.6 or 4.7. I think Tylan has the same quick-twitch as him, but he’s going to run under 4.5. So that’s what you get with him.”

Sounds like he’s going to be next in a long line of great wide receivers to come through Oklahoma State.
