Watch: Top OSU Receiver Target Breaks Long Jump Record
There’s a lot to like about CJ Moore.
The 2018 wide receiver prospect is the current No. 3. high school player in Oklahoma according to 247Sports. He’s also got the size and skill that causes offensive coaches to salivate and keeps defensive coaches up at night.
The Tulsa Union product recently whittled down his list of top schools to six. Oklahoma State made the cut. If Kasey Dunn hopes to keep this premiere talent in-state, he’ll have to fend off the likes of Ohio State, Ole Miss, and Oregon.
Strangely enough, Oklahoma has yet to offer one of the premiere talents in the state. But you can bet more invitations are on the horizon as Moore looks to follow up a breakout junior season this fall.
Moore recently showed off his athleticism with this ridiculous long jump, breaking the Union High School record. (It looks like they need to dig a longer pit.)

This apparently was not the first time he broke the school record according to a tweet from April 14.

But long jumping is not the only reason to love Moore as a prospect.
At 6 foot 5, he would be the tallest receiver on the roster next season. That’s one inch taller than senior outside threat Marcell Ateman. Give Moore a couple years to fill in and factor in Rob Glass and Co.’s potential influence and you’ve got an absolute freak on your hands.
Currently, Moore has all you could want from a high school prospect — speed, size, good hands and he’s stronger than he looks.
Cue the Jelani Woods-to-CJ Moore highlights. You must be this tall to ride this ride.
