What to Know about Tramonda Moore’s Top 3 Announcement

Long-time Oklahoma State target and senior offensive lineman Tramonda Moore has had a long recruiting process, but with signing day approaching, the process is coming to a close.

He has announced on twitter that he will be releasing his “final 3 official visits”, presumably narrowing down his options to 3 schools.

Moore is a 6-6, 330-pound offensive tackle from John Marshall, OK, with offers from Alabama, Florida State, TCU, OU, OSU, UCLA, Missouri, and others…

Just based off my following of his recruitment, I would expect his final 3 official visits to be comprised of both Oklahoma schools – the Sooners and the Cowboys, to go with either UCLA or TCU.

Moore has made several visits to both Norman and Stillwater, unofficially, and the Sooners appear to have taken a lead on his recruitment, in my opinion.

In no order, my predictions would be…

  • OSU — OSU is a real option here because of his ties to the school – his head coach happens to be former OSU standout Rashaun Woods. He made multiple unofficial visits to Stillwater this season, and he seems to have a real connection with offensive line coach Greg Adkins. There is also a desperate need for lineman in Stillwater; at 6-6, 330, he could come in and play early, potentially.
  • OU — OU has made up some serious ground in his recruitment, in what was a one-sided Bedlam affair until lately. The Sooners hosted Moore for an unofficial visit weeks ago, and his twitter account is flooded with the #BoomerSooner hype. The Sooners have all the momentum on the recruiting trail, and after blowing the Cowboys out in Bedlam, that certainly figures to help their chances.
  • TCU — TCU jumped into the ring on Moore in September and hosted him for an unofficial visit this season, which he seemed to enjoy. Fort Worth and playing for Gary Patterson seems like a decent option, especially given the experience the Horned Frogs will lose over the next few years.
