Simpson is an extremely young but already very well developed prospect. He already has offers from Baylor, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and Kansas. He’s already 320 pounds and listed at 6-foot-7.
During a visit several months ago he seemed pleasantly surprised after his time in Stillwater. “Took a tour of the facilities and the campus, which was impressive. I was impressed with academics being important and not just being an athlete,” he said. “I also had the chance to speak with J.W. Walsh, the quarterback, and he advised me it was a great school and he would love to see me attend Oklahoma State University.”
Fixing the offensive line is a main priority in the 2016 recruiting class, but it’s never too early to start planning ahead to 2018. The only question is: Can he suit up this weekend?
