Come on back at 11 a.m. (or maybe a little earlier) today. We’re going to have another lunch chat with Kyle B., myself and you guys. We can talk crootin, Gottlieb or whatever you guys want to talk about.

Football News

An unnamed Big 12 coach on Calvin Bundage: “Bundage is really intriguing. He’s long and aggressive. He’s physical, he looks like a Velociraptor and he will strike you.” Also, that’s Gundy talking about Parrish Cobb, yes? [ESPN]

Collaborative replay is coming to college football. [shrugs] [CBS]

Hoops News

Travis Ford: “We need a win, there’s no question. That cures a lot of ailments, trying to get a win under your belt. None of them are going to come easy at this point, and we understand the challenge at hand. We don’t need to get caught up in thinking about winning or losing. We need to play better.” [O’Colly]

The sad truth is, Sutton remains a longshot for the Hall of Fame. If Sutton was from Pennsylvania instead of Kansas, if he had coached great success at Seton Hall and Providence instead of Arkansas and OSU, his chances would be greater. But the selectors are going to have to buck their own history to enshrine Sutton. [NewsOK]

OU-Kansas is the greatest game Dick Vitale has ever called. [NewsOK]

Jeff Passan on Buddy Hield — hooo boy, that’s some writing. [NewsOK]

Good stuff on Leyton. I wish he was getting to be a good 7th guy on a Big 12 title team. Leyton’s mom: “The quest for knowledge is what our family is rooted in.” Good stuff.

More PFB

Carson and I did a podcast with Doug Gottlieb. The OSU head coaching job was discussed. [PFB]

Three OSU players invited to the NFL Combine. [PFB]

Members of OSU’s 2016 freshman class who could contribute this year. Great stuff from Kyle B. [PFB]

More Stuff I’m Reading

It’s the end of business as we know it. [Ben Arment]

This is not an endorsement either way. It’s just an interesting article on Donald Trump. [Vox]
