Coaching rumors

Mike Gundy is reportedly speaking with Baylor officials regarding the head coaching position.

Then Football Scoop dropped this:

Word began to get out today about the possibility of Baylor speaking with Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy. Sources tell FootballScoop this is straight coaching search legend….not based in reality. Not happening.

And then this.

This was a very interesting nugget on Gundy’s contract situation from the Tulsa World:

Regardless of the Baylor report, there is also a question regarding the recent contract extension for Gundy.

Gundy and Oklahoma State agreed to a two-year extension this offseason, which would take him through the 2021 season. It was approved by the OSU Board of Regents in June.

But that contract has not been signed.

And another coach, defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer, is apparently getting interest and speaking with Georgia State. (PFB)
