Mike Gundy Wins 100th Career Game On Homecoming Against WVU
Mike Gundy got his 100th win on Saturday afternoon over No. 10 West Virginia. He’s one of just seven active coaches with 100 or more wins with his current team.
What makes the accomplishment even more unbelievable is that the No. 2 coach at OSU (Pat Jones) has just 62 wins. Gundy is now 100-49 in his 11 and a half years at the helm in Stillwater. An unfathomable record for those of us who grew up in the early and late 90s.
Gundy was showered with orange Gatorade after the game and got a big hug from his son.

“It means a lot for Oklahoma State University, our fans and really our team,” Gundy said after the game to FOX.
“It’s special for all of us,” he added afterwards. For me to say that 100 wins isn’t special for me would not be fair because it means that we’re doing well here and having success.
“The players know that at the end of the day, we’re responsible for putting out a product that fans and people around the country want to see. They’re exciting, they play the game the right way, they graduate in four years, then they go out in society with character and substance to them and be productive. That’s really what our goal is. They know that. That far outweighs an individual 100-win accomplishment.”
Pretty awesome day in Stillwater.
