Prized 6-foot-10 Center Recruit Planning Visit to Oklahoma State
Brad Underwood is seeing the fruits of his labor pay off right before his eyes. After a recent trip to St. Benedict’s Prep School to check on 6-foot-1o center Bourama Sidibe (and extend a scholly to his teammate), Oklahoma State is now expecting to receive the big man for a visit to campus next month.
Bourama Sidibe, the 6-10 big man from @StBenedictsNJ and @WeR1Basketball, visits Texas Tech & Oklahoma State next month.

Sidibe has offers from Syracuse, Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Memphis, SMU and a handful of others per verbalcommits.com. He is the nations No. 156 player in the 2017 class according to 247sports; but looking at his offer list and schools pursuing him, he is over achieving his ranking by a mile.
Sidibe is a true center prospect which is a tough position to recruit just due to the lack of athletic big men who project well to the next level. His skill, obviously with his height, is shot-blocking and he has a good feel around the rim offensively as well.
A plus is that his athleticism, at least at the high school level, allows him to switch off and defend athletic guards in the pick and roll and makes basically anyone pay for it by throwing the ball in their face. However he is listed at just 225-pounds and although he has a frame to grow into, he plays somewhat small and will need to add weight to his frame to contribute at the next level.
