The Reload is PFB’s recruiting recap, catching you up to speed on the latest news and rumors surrounding Oklahoma State recruiting, with an ear to the ground for what to expect in the future.

 Devontae Shuler to OSU?

I noticed Wednesday that a new OSU fan account was created dedicated to apparently bring Devontae Shuler, a four-star shooting guard, to Oklahoma State. Sheller is a 6-foot-3 sharpshooter from South Carolina, who not only held an offer from Stephen F. Austin during the Underwood era, but was also being recruited by Lamont Evans at South Carolina before Evans joined the OSU staff. Which is notable not only geographically speaking, but also because Evans was his lead recruiter, and the Gamecocks were once considered to be the favorite. (And still might be.)

Oklahoma State extended an offer in April just shortly after Underwood’s arrival, and since have added a commitment in 2017 combo guard Zach Dawson. However OSU is still in pursuit of Shuler, and will likely push for an official visit sometime this fall before he decides to make a college decision.

Tramonda Moore Recruiting

Since his arrival at Independence Community College, the 2016 OSU offensive line pledge has already garnered major Div. I interest. He picked up his first offer last month from UCLA and on Wednesday, announced that Mississippi State had also extended a scholarship.

The 6-foot-6, 330-pound mauler has yet to start his football season, and strangely seems to have reclassified to the 2017 class. Regardless of his classification, it seems that teams are going to be paying him a lot of attention once again in his second bout of recruitment.

Tylan Wallace recruiting five-star linebacker

Tylan Wallace is further proof that players are in fact the best recruiters. OSU’s highest rated pledge in the 2017 class, Tylan Wallace, is a vocal leader in the group and has been public in his recruitment of several high profile names. The latest of Tylan’s target is none other than five-star linebacker Anthony Hines of Plano East HS in Texas. Hines is a budding star who is a target by many top schools, but has narrowed his list down to OSU, OU, Texas, Texas A&M, and several others. Although several analysts believe it may be a Red River Showdown for Hines, Tylan Wallace cares not what analysts think. Pretty great to see this from your top guy in the class:

As far as Hines is concerned, Gerry Hamilton of ESPN reports that he will likely make a college decision in October. OSU could be in line for an official visit, especially after hosting him just three weeks ago in Stillwater.

Brock Martin and Brendon Evers preparing for senior year

Part of the core of what it shaping up to be a solid defensive line group in the 2017 class is prepping for their senior years in Brendon Evers and Brock Martin at defensive tackle and defensive end, respectively. Evers is the anchor of the Bixby Spartan defense and Martin is a standout wrestler/defensive end/cowboy back for Oologah.

Martin and the Mustangs open the season next Thursday against Collinsville and former OSU commit Levi Draper at Oologah. Evers and the Spartans open up their season next Friday with a huge opening game test against the Jenks Trojans at Jenks, who won the state title last season.
