It was reported that Moore, who was the highest rated prospect and late addition to Mike Gundy’s class, may have trouble qualifying but Mike Gundy refuted that, saying he was on track to enroll at OSU.
The 6-6, 330-pound offensive lineman may not have been able to contribute right away, but the Army All-American from John Marshall certainly has a ton of upside. Which the Cowboys won’t get a chance to see in Stillwater anytime soon.
While it’s difficult to assume a true freshman could come in and compete for a starting gig right away, it makes the job of rebuilding the offensive line from a struggling unit the past two seasons that much more difficult, especially for a player of Moore’s caliber. Moore was the highest rated player who signed with OSU in the class of 2016.
