Uniform Predictions: Central Michigan

Another standing ovation for Chris Knox for creating the scoreboard at the bottom for us. Just above and beyond, and now we can see how many points I house Carson by at the end of the year. Here are our picks for Central Michigan.

Justin Southwell

I’m predicting Black-Orange-Orange because I feel like it’s still a little early to bust out the black jerseys. I’m saying black helmet, but who knows what that means anymore? Maybe it will have the updated chrome brand logo, new Pete logo? Chief is going to have us taking wild guesses all season, and I’m perfectly fine with that. It’s going to be a fun year.

Carson Cunningham

I’m treating last week’s prediction like I’m 1-0 on the season.

This week I’m going for another classic look with an updated helmet: White helmet (icy white chrome vanilla sparkle pete),[1. Did we settle on icy white Pete as the official name, or no?] black, white.

I hate to use such a strong combo on Central Michigan, but last week’s debut means they have 8 white helmets now. No really, 8![1. See here]. So we could see white-black-white again at some point with a different helmet design and it would look fresh. I say go for 9 white helmets and add this baby to the mix:

Well you’re not 1-0 because Knox says you’re not 1-0, Carson. I’m sorry about that. It is a shame. Love the Rodgers GIF though!

I’m really feeling the black lid-black jersey combo this weekend, and Chrome Pete on the black helmet is awesome. It’s plain enough that it doesn’t feel like you’re doing too much against a MAC team but also fun enough to get the juices going a little for the guys against Cooper Manning Rush.
