Big 12 News
This on Houston joining the Big 12 is pretty compelling. Berry: “If and when the Big 12 wants another member, there will be skeptics that it should look inward. Houston will have to win its way into the Big 12. The Oklahoma game on Sept. 3 would be a good place to start.” [NewsOK]

Football News
Mason Rudolph was the third-best returning road QB last year. Brandon Chatmon:” Rudolph no longer has J.W. Walsh serving as a safety net, but that could push him to be even better as a junior. If the Cowboys plan to make a legitimate run at the Big 12 title, Rudolph has to be much better on the road, especially with games at TCU, Baylor and Oklahoma on the slate.” [ESPN]
This is honestly one of the greatest photos I’ve ever seen.

Baseball News
Jordy Mercer on OSU’s run: “I know the blood, sweat and tears Josh pours in and how much pride he has because he grew up there and has always wanted to be the coach there. Now he is and to bring tradition back and get back to Omaha is really special, and we’re all rooting for him.” Great interviews there. [okstatate]

Hoops News
Jeff Goodman ranks Brad Underwood at OSU as the fifth-most stable job situation in the Big 12. Scott Drew first. Shaka Smart second. Bill Self seventh (I presume because of the allure of the NBA). [ESPN – $]

If we get Trae Young. My goodness. [PFB]

Geo Martinez gets a waiver to transfer to Oklahoma State and wrestle. He’ll have to sit out a year. [Intermat]
