Oklahoma State Recruiting Hard In-State Again
Oklahoma State nabbed some of the state’s top recruits for the 2016 recruiting class in offensive lineman Tramonda Moore, linebacker Calvin Bundage, and running back Justice Hill. The 2017 class in Oklahoma is loaded with talent once again, maybe even more so than the 2016 class. And the Cowboys are once again making in-state recruiting a priority with several offers out the door over the weekend.
Tre Brown – Cornerback (2017)
Brown is a Tulsa Union standout who I suggested to keep an eye on 5 months ago. Brown has a listed 40 time of 4.33 – and could easily be one of the fastest athletes in the state. The 6-foot standout has now picked up offers from K-State, OSU, South Carolina, and many more – with more to come, I’m sure. He announced his offer on Saturday, just shortly after the Sooners made a play for him. From all accounts, however, I would consider the Sooners to be the overwhelming favorite to land his services.

Isaiah Thomas, Defensive End (2017)
The 6-4, 230-lb. end from Tulsa Memorial has also completely blown up similarly to Brown. Since Feb. 11, he has received offers from Mizzou, Tennessee, Iowa State, OSU, Vanderbilt, and OU. He is unranked on all recruiting service websites, but I don’t think that will be the case much longer.

Josh Proctor – Safety (2018)
Proctor is an Owasso standout who the Cowboys have at the top of their board for the class, considering he is still just a budding sophomore phenom. His only offers are OU and OSU for now, so he is an in-state treasure. But if the big boys are jumping on him at this point, it’s only a matter of time before he picks up some major attention. He has the size (6-2, 185-lb.) of some of the safeties on the OSU roster already, so he has a very high ceiling with two years still to improve.
