The Reload: Two Four-stars visiting, Hayden sets Commitment Date
The Reload is PFB’s recruiting recap, catching you up to speed on the latest news and rumors surrounding Oklahoma State recruiting, with an ear to the ground for what to expect in the future.
2017 OL Commit Visiting Schools
Dan Moore Jr., a recent offensive line verbal commit to OSU, is still making visits to other schools. According to Moore’s social media, he visited Missouri last week, and is visiting Ole Miss and Mississippi State today.
His entire twitter account is black and oranged out with OSU regalia, so I think it’s too early to put him on watch for a decommitment. But being a 6-5, 320-pound offensive guard, it’s natural to be aware that other schools are clearly not quitting their pursuit of the Beaumont Beast just because he’s made a commitment.
Four-star receiver, QB visiting campus
We mentioned earlier this week that CJ Moore, a Tulsa Union four-star receiver, may be visiting campus sometime this week. And he confirmed as much via his twitter account on Thursday:
?S?? Tomorrow!!

Moore is a freak athlete and 2018 prospect, who is going to evolve into one of the best prospects in the state by his senior year — if he’s not already.
The second four-star visiting Friday is 2018 QB Cameron Rising. Rising is coming off visits from TCU, Houston, Florida State, and others. Although Rising is living in Cali, he does have family connections in Ada and has ties back home that could play a factor in his final decision.
2017 DB Planning Visit
Thabo Mwaniki, a 5-11 Denton, Guyer safety, is planning a visit to OSU on July 28 according to a source close to him. Mwaniki has 11 scholarship offers from the likes of UConn, Kansas, Rutgers, Colorado, Colorado State, SMU, and others. And while he doesn’t hold an offer from the Pokes, it sounds as if there’s a serious chance he grabs one during his visit — and Mwaniki, at least in my opinion, is trending heavily towards OSU.
2017 RB target sets commitment date
Chase Hayden, a Collierville, TN prospect with close to 20 scholarship offers, has narrowed down his top 3 and is planning a commitment on Sunday at 8:00pm. He’s choosing from Arkansas, OSU, and Mizzou. The 247sports crystal ball has him 69% headed to Arkansas, and I don’t expect any good news for OSU on Sunday. But he’ll be one to keep an eye on for Sunday.
I'll be committing on Sunday @8:00❕❕#WPS #Gopokes #Missouri
